Inspiring stories on how exercise can change a life forever
When it comes to exercising, it has changed a lot of lives, whether it is depression, anxiety, losing a close one or even a breakup exercising has definitely helped, it hasn’t been the solution but it has definitely been a support in a lot of people’s lives.
Let’s talk about such few stories:
- Depression made it impossible to live but exercising brought me back to life
My work-life, social-life was all going to hell, eventually I had to find something to make myself feel worthy or let’s just call it a diversion. But eventually I did hear my friends talk about their ‘sessh of workouts’ and I thought I have got nothing to lose and I gave it a go. At first it was uncomfortable, felt weird and even I was at a place where I didn’t feel like continuing but I have a habit of looking myself into the mirror, and I felt a change and I thought why not just continue to do something and I found my love and happiness in exercise. It wasn’t as easy as this paragraph but I did find my way to it. - Harris
- Nothing worse than a teen breakup, but lifting weights made me wanted by all
Not to brag but how I look today was not the story back in high school, we all know what bullying is but I was never bullied to be honest, I hung out with the best crowd, but whenever a joke was made it was hard for me to always bounce back I will not lie it did get on my nerves but I was like whatever okay. Eventually the girl I had been seeing since 9th standard left me in 12th standard which was a shock not only to be but my friends too. Would you believe what she told me before our breakup? ‘You are too skinny to look after me, and we are now in an age where we will get married, I don’t wanna be called a matchsticks wife’. And I cannot tell you, how it boosted my way to the gym and obviously with a little help from my friends and family I now have 16 in biceps. Exercising, lifting weights did not only bring me a good body but it gave me a new life. – Kartik
- Finding the Self-Love
“For the first time in my life I love my body.”
It wasn’t until I had my baby girl in 2018 that exercise crossed my mind. I hated the idea of workout, i decided ill just hang with my kid at the park and not worry about people looking at me, was a solid reason to start moving. I wanted my daughter to know she can do anything and if I can’t prove that, who’s going to?
After trying a few online fitness challenges, I started to lose weight feel different and that pushed me to get myself to the gym and after that there was no turning back.
